Love’s Cauldron

My book (working title was I AM Witch) is being published by Filament in London. I hope to have it published by the summer. It explores my healing journey and understanding of the wild feminine and witch and is filled with story and poetry.

Synopsis

It is long ago. A shadow settles across the earth as women are deemed property and no longer seen as having intrinsic value. The qualities of the divine feminine are demonized and thought to be dark and dangerous. The word “witch” becomes pejorative and is associated with malevolent magic. Persecution, torture, and death could await those who embody specific abilities – the art of divination, the body’s wisdom, intuition, healing, and the secrets of the dark side of the moon. Women lose their voices and power. The world falls into a flatland of logic and rationality. Humanity loses connection with its source.

Traversing from the shadowy memory of trauma, an image that skirts around the edges, not quite visible, to a more whole and embodied self, Jennifer claims her identity as a witch and expands into her empowered authentic self. She redefines witch as the ability to transform ourselves and the world by embracing all of ourselves and our qualities. No longer in exile, the divine feminine embodies and is expressed through each of us.

I began to weave

golden strand of light

with trauma and pain,

until I had wings and soared

deep into my life.

Love’s Cauldron is a compelling story of healing, developing strength, and the capacity to help others. It takes the reader on a profound spiritual journey that de-pathologizes and redefines the meaning of witch, helping us reclaim our wild feminine nature, intuition, and inner voice. The voices and experiences of the feminine are given a place to live and be rejoiced, inspiring hope and transformation.
